Now Might Be the Time to Switch from Internet Explorer

If you are still using Internet Explorer, you might want to consider replacing it with a better web browser – and soon. There are several reasons why Internet Explorer is a bad choice of web browsers for business. Here are a few:

• There are endless security issues. Just recently, for instance, USA Today reported that Microsoft issued a security upgrade for Internet Explorer. The problem is, Microsoft fixes one security issue only to be confronted with another one in just a few weeks. It’s a never-ending cycle for Microsoft and Internet Explorer.
• Internet Explorer has several vulnerabilities that are not easily overlooked. Hackers often attack unsuspecting Internet Explorer users because those Web browsers are not generally as technologically savvy as users of other Web browsers. Google Chrome
Google Chrome is faster than your average Web browser, as long as you don’t have open too many tabs. Also, Google has gone to great lengths to make Chrome’s security and stability as close to ironclad as you can get. It’s also free.

Opera
Opera is another free alternative Web browser. Opera has done a good job of making its Web browser compatible with multiple devices, including your desktop and laptop computers, mobile phone, and tablet.

Maxthon
A relative newcomer in the browser wars, Maxthon has a small user base, but it does have some impressive features. These include online syncing and storage, easy screen capture and video downloads, and heightened compatibility due to tapping into both Chrome’s and Internet Explorer’s rendering engines.

Which web browser you use is largely a matter of personal choice and features needed. Most business web users, however, can benefit from getting rid of Internet Explorer and picking one of the several alternative web browsers on the market.
